Professional Career: Andy Greenawalt had been the CEO of Emerson Ecologics since January, 2010. Emerson is the largest U.S. distributor of nutraceuticals and healthcare products to healthcare professionals of all modalities. This includes over 17,000 products from over 250 well-known, respected brands. Prior to Emerson, Andy served five years as the President of Cole-Parmer Instrument, a $180 million business unit of Thermo Fisher Scientific. He joined the business in 2004 as it's VP Operations and was elevated to President after one year. He also hald responsibility for e-commerce and marketing communications for Thermo Fisher during a portion of this time. Andy's previous career included operational and supply chain leadership roles in a regional, multi-brand confectionary manufacturer/retailer, a high profile food industry dot-com start up, and a consumer products and automotive aftermarket manufacturer. Andy started his career in with sourcing and project management roles  at National Can Corporation, a large, public can and bottle manufacturer. Personal: Andy lives in Long Grove, Illinois with his wife and three children. He is President of the Board of Directors of OMNI Youth Services, a child and family service non-profit and a long-tiem supporter of CASA, for whom his wife, Janice, is a volunteer. He grew up in Northfield, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago. Andy graduated from the University of Michigan in 1983 with a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering and received his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 1987. He continues to be an avid Michigan Wolverines fan and enjoys biking, tennis and home improvement projects.
